Get To Know Me

Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I am a life long dog lover, grief survivor, and advocate for rescued and special-needs dogs. After losing my mother to violence at the age of fifteen, I navigated years of anxiety, PTSD, and grief. Through the love and companionship of my dogs, I found healing, joy, and purpose.

I am married and live with my husband in a small town, where I share my home and heart with our beloved pack of dogs. I write to inspire others facing grief, trauma, or mental health challenges, and to highlight the transformative power of rescued animals. When I’m not walking my pack or advocating for animals in need, I enjoy journaling, reading, and celebrating the little moments of love and laughter that make life meaningful.

I started this blog because life is messy—full of dog hair, anxiety, half-read books, and all the questions that never seem to have neat answers. Somewhere in the middle of that chaos, I realized we’re all looking for the same thing: hope, connection, and a reminder that we’re not navigating it alone.

About the Blog

This blog is for:

✨ The anxious soul who just wants to breathe.
✨ The reader who loves to escape into words.
✨ The dog lover who understands that pets aren’t just pets—they’re family.
✨ Anyone who’s ever felt “too much” or “not enough.”

My hope is that when you leave here, you feel a little more seen, a little less alone, and a lot more hopeful. Here, you’ll find pieces of my story—some funny, some tender, some raw—and the lessons I’ve stumbled into along the way. You’ll also find encouragement, gentle reminders, and a sprinkle of creativity. Think of it as a mix of coffee-shop conversations, journal pages, and small guides to make the hard days feel lighter.

So grab your coffee, snuggle up with your pup, and stay awhile. You belong here.
